Described as one of Australia’s most convincing and original painters, Emma Walker’s contemporary artwork is as emotive as it is compelling. She also just happens to be a lovely friend of mine who is based near Byron Bay. Emma’s latest exhibition, The Dawn Language, was inspired after a trip to the desert last year she described as “transformational”. You can catch Emma’s exquisite work at Tweed River Art Gallery from now until May 2, 2010.
