Ilona Harker is a friend and fellow resident of Bruns and I am captivated every time I see and hear her sing. Describing her songwriting style as “folk noir”, Ilona is utterly mesmerising when she performs. When not wowing audiences with her cheeky lyrics and sultry vocals, she takes people like me stand-up paddle boarding on the Brunswick River near where we live.
